Here at The Self Leadership Initiative we believe that effective leadership starts with the self. We train young people in the skills that help aspiring leaders to:
We are passionate about working with young people because if they are nurtured today then they will become the next leaders in their communities, workplaces and families.
Our aim is to develop the whole student by building self esteem, confidence and a toolkit of versatile key skills. These life skills can then be applied in career, home, personal and educational environments. This will allow young people to achieve their life goals – whatever they may be.
Future young leaders
Mahatma Gandhi – “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
Every community can benefit from developing a group of emerging and inspiring home-grown young leaders. After completing one of our programmes, graduates have the opportunity to train as mentors for others. This strengthens learning, increases responsibility and allows for the practice of leadership when supporting others.
All of our packages are suitable for groups of up to 30 participants as standard. You can select a pre-made package or design your own bespoke curriculum based on the needs of your learners. Our packages are generally charged by the hour and prices include preparation time, handouts, resources and staffing costs. Please download our full Package Guide.
